Technical Papers · Harnessing AI for small business
Harness the power of AI — the whole method, in writing.
Seven plain-language papers on harnessing AI for small-business owners and the self-employed: training your AI, then building the InkFox system that runs on it. Written by a working artist, not a developer. From £4 each; all seven for £20.

The seven papers: pick your slice
Tap any cover to see what that paper solves, what you could actually do with it, and whether it stands alone. Paper one is the broadest if you are not sure where to start. Nothing here is dependent on JavaScript: with it off, every paper is simply shown in full.

Paper 1 · The flagship · Start here
How to Train Your AI
The broadest, most practical paper in the set. It turns a default AI subscription (Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini) into a trained partner that actually knows you and gets better the longer you use it, instead of resetting to a stranger every morning.
- What you could do with it
- Set up memory and a “soul file” for your chosen model, prompt each one the way it rewards, layer your context and guardrails, and follow a concrete no-code first-week walkthrough you can start tonight. Sourced from the model-makers where it matters.
- Does it stand alone?
- Completely. It is the doorway to the whole method: the cheapest way in, and the right first buy if you are not sure.

Paper 2 · The architectural foundation
InkFox Structure
How a working AI system is actually put together, and why the shape matters more than the model. The foundation the rest of the technical pack sits on.
- What you could do with it
- Build your own loading sequence: a handful of small, single-purpose rule-files the AI reads at the start of every session, so it shows up already knowing who you are, what you are working on, and what it must never do. A workable load order you can copy, no code.
- Does it stand alone?
- Yes. But it is the base the deeper papers build on. If you are going further than paper one, read this first.

Paper 3 · The craft underneath
InkFox Layer-Level
One level down from Structure: the single layer: the actual unit a working system is built from. The genuinely rare content almost nobody documents.
- What you could do with it
- Write a layer that passes its own tests, using the “write for the literal reader” discipline and the real pass/fail validation prompts the InkFox loader itself uses, and keep it from quietly rotting. When to split a layer, when to merge, and how to manage the seams where real systems break.
- Does it stand alone?
- The techniques work on any AI on their own, but it is the level below Structure, most valuable once you have the shape from paper two.

Paper 4 · The intelligence plane
InkFox V2 MultiAI
Stop using one AI for everything. Run several models as one coordinated team (the right job to the right model), without a developer, and without the runaway bill.
- What you could do with it
- Assign the team roles you actually need, route each task to the model built for it, and apply the two hard-won cost rules (never put a cheap model in charge; do not cheapen your default to save pennies) that save real money the first time you would otherwise repeat my mistakes. (Model names and prices are a dated snapshot, and the paper says so.)
- Does it stand alone?
- Yes. Even if you never build a full system, its closing section is written for anyone who currently leans on one AI for everything and quietly overpays.

Paper 5 · Put it all together
InkFox V2 Stack
The whole stack as one living thing, end to end: the three planes (knowledge, intelligence, operations), the automation that runs without you, and the real, dated cost numbers nobody selling AI dreams will show you.
- What you could do with it
- See how the layers, the models and the background automation assemble into a system that briefs you each morning and keeps itself from bankrupting you (including a real, dated cost blow-up with the actual daily figures), plus the exact order to build it in.
- Does it stand alone?
- Readable alone, but it is the “put it all together” paper. It lands hardest after Structure, Layer-Level and MultiAI.

Paper 6 · The payoff
The Publisher
Turn your AI into a publishing engine: the part that actually ships the work, not just makes it. It fixes the single most common failure in personal content systems: good work dying in a folder.
- What you could do with it
- Run a one-directional state pipeline, use the “filename-is-the-database” naming discipline and the “capture is sacred — chat history is not storage” rule (copyable habits, zero code), with a human review gate so nothing goes out unchecked. Consistency, not just volume.
- Does it stand alone?
- Yes. The payoff paper of the pack, and its habits are immediately usable even if you have read nothing else.

Paper 7 · Standalone · The big one
Build Your Own Multi-Lane AI Control Tower
⚠ Unleash the full power of Claude. One always-on session, orchestrating more than you can manage on your own. Proceed with caution.
Instead of opening a fresh chat for every job and babysitting it, you run one always-on orchestrator that fans work out to several parallel “lanes” and pulls the results back for you to sign off. Built from zero. This is the ceiling of single-chat AI, broken.
- What you could do with it
- Stand up your own Control Tower: the chronological build steps, the exact things to ask your AI at each step, the boot guardrails that make it start the same way every time, and how the lanes coordinate so it feels slick rather than chaotic. You need a Mac you can leave switched on, a phone, a git account and a willingness to write a few plain-text rules. No developer.
- Does it stand alone?
- Yes. Sold separately, and deliberately not in the six-pack. It is the standalone big one: the full power, with a wink of warning. Take it on its own, or fold it into all seven for £20.

The six-pack · £17
The technical set, together: all six core papers, one download.
The six core papers were written to be read as a set. Each takes one slice: training a single AI, the shape of a system, the craft of a single layer, running several models as a team, the whole stack end to end, and the publishing engine that ships the work.
The six-pack is all of them in one download, for £17 instead of £24 bought singly (6 × £4): £7 off, and the simplest way to get the full picture rather than collecting it piece by piece. An honest saving, shown in full: no inflated “was” price.
Contents: How to Train Your AI · InkFox Structure · InkFox Layer-Level · InkFox V2 MultiAI · InkFox V2 Stack · The Publisher. The Control Tower paper is standalone (£7), or take all seven together for £20.
