Transition to a creative career — one week at a time.

CP52 WebDeck · Contact Engine · Live · Compass

Every customer, every message — in one place.

The Contact Engine joins two jobs into one: who your people are (every contact, purchase and booking against the person who made it) and reaching them: newsletters, campaigns and automated workflows to your own list. All on your platform, not a marketplace's, with no per-subscriber tax climbing as you grow. It's live: Compass runs the contacts, CRM and email on our own sites today and ships in every WebDeck edition, from Presence at £25 a month.

CP52 WebDeck

Live · in every edition

A CP52 WebDeck engine that pairs your CRM and email into one Contact Engine, included in every WebDeck edition (from Presence, £25/mo), wired to your Shop and Events. See the platform →

Stop scattering your customers, and stop paying more every time your list grows

The relationship stays yours — from first contact to every message after.

Most creatives lose their customers to the platform that introduced them: contacts trapped in a marketplace, a booking tool and a payment app that never talk to each other, and an email list they’re charged more to reach every time it grows. The Contact Engine brings them into one place: who they are, what they’ve bought, what they’ve booked, and lets you write to them from the same platform, with no per-subscriber fee. It’s built on the Shop and Events engines you already own, so the raw records are already yours.

The problem it kills

You built the audience. Someone else owns the contacts, and charges you to reach them.

Every creative who’s watched customers scatter and an email bill creep up knows both of these.

You do the hard part: you earn the customers and the subscribers, one real human at a time. Then their details end up trapped across a marketplace, a booking tool and a payment app that never talk to each other, so you never see the whole person. And the platform that holds your list hands you an invoice that rises with every name you add, as if the audience were theirs and you were paying for permission to reach it. Cross a tier and the price jumps. The better you do, the more it costs to reach the people who already said yes.

The Contact Engine is being built to end exactly that: both halves. Your contacts, purchases and bookings unify into one list; writing to that list happens from the same platform, so reaching your own audience isn’t a metered privilege. It’s just something you can do, because it’s yours.

Who’s building it

Built by someone who’s kept real customers coming back

Not a template CRM or a startup guess: the same person who taught these workshops and built these businesses is building the engine, and the numbers are real and hand-counted.

708workshop attendances taught, hands-on
330individual students · 1 in 3 (37%) came back for more
1,000+people taught across the career
12businesses built · one a software company acquired by a global franchise
What the Contact Engine does

Contacts, communication and workflows, joined up in one place

A deliberately short, honest list across both halves: the CRM side and the email side. We’ll only ever call a capability ‘done’ once it’s real.

One contact list

Customers and enquirers in a single list you control, not scattered across a marketplace, an inbox and three apps.

Purchases & bookings, synced

Orders from the Shop engine and bookings from the Events engine, joined against each contact, so you see the whole history at a glance.

Newsletters & campaigns

Compose and send newsletters and broadcasts to your own list, from your own site, the writing surface, not a third party’s dashboard.

Automated workflows

The join between the two halves: a booking or a purchase can trigger the right follow-up to the right person (welcome, reminder, thank-you) from your own platform, in the direction you choose.

No per-subscriber fee

Your list can grow without the monthly bill growing with it: reach the people who chose you without paying more each time one more does.

Your data, your relationships

Contacts and audience both live in your own deck: nothing locked inside a marketplace CRM or mailing platform. Export the lot whenever you like.

How you’ll get it

An engine in your deck

The Contact Engine isn’t a separate subscription on top; it switches on inside your CP52 deck as part of the edition you take, CRM and email together. Both buy online, monthly or annual — or we confirm your plan with you by email first.

The Contact Engine is being built in the open. No countdown, no fake scarcity: Compass is live, the price is the price, and the figure we quote you is the figure you pay.

Your contacts and your list stay yours: no lock-in, no invented numbers

The Contact Engine runs inside your deck as part of the edition you take, not as a separate subscription on top. Your contacts, purchases, bookings and audience are yours to export at any time and take elsewhere. Registering interest costs nothing and commits you to nothing. Nothing is charged until you have chosen an edition and agreed the price with me. And you won’t find open rates or deliverability figures on this page, because the email side isn’t sending yet and I won’t make them up. We’ll only ever say a feature works once it does.

Straight answers

Before you register

Is the Contact Engine finished?

Yes — it's live. The foundation was real first: the Shop and Events engines already capture every order and booking in your own platform, so the raw customer records exist. What’s being built is the surface that unifies them into one contact view and the email side that writes to them. We’ll say it’s done only when it’s real.

Is this one product or two?

One. The Contact Engine folds what used to be two separate ideas (a CRM and an email tool) into a single engine dedicated to contact and communication: your contacts and their history on one side, newsletters, campaigns and automated workflows on the other, joined up so a booking or purchase can flow straight into the right follow-up.

Do I have to buy anything now?

No. No. Compass comes inside every WebDeck edition; take Presence (£25 a month) when you're ready and it arrives switched on.

Will I pay per subscriber?

Ending that is part of the whole point: your list living on your own deck, so it can grow without the monthly bill growing with it. The engine is included in every WebDeck edition — from Presence at £25 a month up to the whole deck in Gold at £1,050 a year, with hosting, updates and support included and no setup fee. Pay yearly and you get twelve months for the price of ten. We never take a percentage of your sales.

Who owns the customer data?

You do. Every contact, purchase, booking and subscriber lives in your own deck: nothing is locked inside a marketplace CRM or mailing platform. You can export the lot whenever you like.

Where does it fit in the platform?

The Contact Engine is one of the WebDeck engines that switch on inside your site, alongside LMS, Events and Shop + POS. See the full platform and editions →
