No. It’s a standalone, non-WordPress site built from a fast static kit: fewer moving parts, nothing to keep patching, no plugin sprawl. You own the domain and everything you put on the site, and your content is yours to export at any time.
What am I paying for, and what happens if I stop?
Straight answer: it is a subscription, and the deck needs us to keep running. It sits in its own container on our servers, so if you stop paying it stops at the end of the period you have paid for. Presence is £25 a month, or £250 for a year — hosting, updates and support included, and no setup fee. What stays yours whatever happens: your domain, your Stripe, your content and your customer data, exportable at any time in a standard format, with no exit fee. The two Mac apps are different — Studio Cut and InkFox run on your own machine, so you buy those once and they keep working whatever happens to the subscription.
